About
Madeline Loving grew up outside Nashville, Tennessee where she excelled in youth government programs, mock trial, show chorus and equestrian sports. Loving began her legal career at the age of fifteen, when she secured her first legal internship focusing strictly on family law matters. Prior to attending law school, Loving pursued her passion for three years working for a real estate law and real property transactions firm.
In 2017, she graduated early after earning her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in public administration and economics. Throughout her college and law school education, Loving completed independent studies on geographical disparities in federal courts’ application of the sentencing guidelines.
Loving began her trial experience in law school as an LASC Rule XX Student Attorney, where she successfully represented juveniles in criminal defense matters. Shortly thereafter in 2021, she earned her Juris Doctorate from Tulane Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana, concentrating on criminal defense law.
After law school, Loving re-located to Virginia Beach with her partner, James, and their two dogs – Penny the Bernedoodle, and Ike the Morkie.
