Kelly L. Roush, CP, SCCP
The Right Attorney Makes All The Difference
About
Kelly’s deep passion for helping families navigate the complexities of the legal system stems from spending time in the foster care system for the first few years of her life, being adopted, growing up with foster siblings, and having parents that have been together for over thirty years. As the spouse of an active duty Navy officer, Kelly is also familiar with key military phrasing and has firsthand experiences with the unique legal and emotional challenges military families face. These life experiences allow Kelly to have a unique perspective on both the challenges and strengths within family dynamics.
Kelly brings a plethora of knowledge having been a paralegal in three different states, graduating cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in legal studies from Illinois State University, being a Certified Paralegal (“CP”) from the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA), being a South Carolina Certified Paralegal (“SCCP”), and having her Legal Studies Certificate from the American Bar Association.
In addition to divorces, equitable distribution, and custody issues, Kelly has experience with adoptions, name changes, gender confirmations, guardianships, surrogacy agreements, and assisted reproductive technology (ART) law.
Outside of work, Kelly enjoys CrossFit, playing in local softball leagues, cuddling with her border collie, Cooper, and cheering for sports teams from her home city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
